WALKABOUTS IN KOLONOS

The Walkabouts in Kolonos are addressed to primary school children. The children discover their city through activities such as treasure hunts and theatrical tours, within urban landscapes such as the Ippios Kolonos Hill, the Academia Platonos park, the derelict tobacco factory premises on Lenorman street and the old Athens-to-Peloponnisos Railway Station. The aim is to bring to the surface points of interest in the fabric of the city and to pique the curiosity of the students about the history of their everyday landscape.
